Questions freshmen keep asking
Who do I talk to if my registration won't go through?
Almost always a hold. Check Bison Hub for the hold type: financial holds go to Student Accounts, immunization holds go to the Student Health Center, and advising holds clear after you meet your advisor. If the hold has no label, email the Registrar and copy your advisor.
Is there free tutoring for accounting and calculus?
Yes. CETLA offers free tutoring, and the School of Business runs peer sessions during midterm weeks. Take The Open Seat and we'll send you the current schedule.
Can freshmen actually get internships?
Yes — mostly through first-year insight and exploratory programs rather than standard internship postings. Those live in the Opportunity Hub with their deadlines.
